? How long we keep personal data?
This varies, but in many cases the retention period is 7 years after your relationship with DEGIRO has ended. In some cases, e.g. if you have an additional European account, the retention period can be extended to 10 years. We start counting at the end of the calendar year in which the relationship was terminated.
We keep personal information from a prospective client for a maximum of 1 year. At the end of the retention period, the personal information is deleted or anonymized.

?️ How do I request to have my information erased?
We are legally required to retain your personal data during the client relationship and after the termination of the relationship for a specified period. Once this period ends, your data will be automatically deleted as part of our regular process. You do not need to take any action for this to happen.
